About Us | Webster Towers

Webster Towers is an eight-story, senior apartment complex located at 500 North Webster Avenue in the historical and beautiful Hill Section neighborhood of Scranton, Pennsylvania.  Originally sponsored by the Jewish Home of Eastern Pennsylvania, it opened its doors in 1976 and is a nonsectarian, nonprofit organization providing housing for seniors and persons with mobility disabilities who need the accessible features of the building.

In addition to providing apartments, Webster Towers also offers an opportunity for socialization through various activities. Holiday parties, gatherings for Bingo and games of all types, topical speakers, entertainers, and bi-weekly prepared midday meals are only a few of the opportunities for seniors to interact.

Whatever your income, there is an apartment for you!  Although there is no asset or income limit related to residency in the building, we offer rental rates based on income to those who may need financial assistance, and reasonable rates if your income is above the current Department of Housing and Urban Development income limits.

Webster Towers is an Equal Housing Opportunity and welcomes persons without regard to race, color, religion, sex, age, familial status, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin or disability.

Webster Towers does not discriminate on the basis of handicapped status in the admission or access to, or treatment or employment in, its federally assisted programs and activities.
